forest gump is prehaps one of the more famous films of tom hanks and its also a film i want to focus on helping to back my theory that he works best as a more solo character, not relying on other cast members, as forest gump follows tom hanks journey through life with other character having brief encounters at a time instead of apperances in majority of the film.

Right then let go straight to business with my theory that academy award winner tom hanks can be considered as a film auteur because of his oustanding performances in a small cast, being able to keep the audience entertained with mostly one character. i will be doing a primary and secondry attempt to prove my theory.
